1. Sponsor
The sponsor of the Away® Bag Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is American Institute for Foreign Study, Inc. (“AIFS”), located at 1 High Ridge Road, Stamford, CT 06905.

2. Promotion Period
The Promotion is valid for a limited time. Eligible participants must enroll in an AIFS Abroad Spring Semester 2026 study abroad or internship program in London, England, and complete their enrollment by the deadline specified in official AIFS promotional materials. AIFS reserves the right to modify or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to students who:

• ✦ Enroll in an AIFS Abroad study abroad or international internship program in London, England, for the Spring Semester 2026.
• ✦ Complete their enrollment by the specified deadline.
• ✦ Are officially accepted into the program and remain enrolled through departure.

    Exclusions

• ✦ Students participating in AIFS Customized, Faculty-Led, or Group Programs arranged through their university are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
• ✦ Students who cancel or withdraw from the program prior to the official start date are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

4. Promotion Details
Eligible participants will receive one (1) Away® “The Carry-On” bag.

• ✦ Estimated retail value: $225–$275 USD.
• ✦ Color and model features are at AIFS’s discretion and subject to availability.
• ✦ The offer is non-transferable, non-negotiable, not redeemable for cash, credit or other goods, and may not be exchanged.
• ✦ Limit of one bag per student, regardless of multiple program enrollments.

5. Shipping and Delivery
The bag will be shipped to the address provided in the student’s application approximately 4–8 weeks before departure.

• ✦ Students must ensure that their shipping address is accurate and up-to-date within their AIFS application portal.
• ✦ AIFS is not responsible for shipping delays, loss, or damage after the item has been dispatched.

6. General Conditions
By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of AIFS, which shall be final and binding. AIFS reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Official Rules or acts in a disruptive manner. All federal, state and local laws apply, and the Promotion is void where prohibited by law or otherwise restricted.

7. Limitation of Liability
AIFS, including its employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives, shall not be responsible for:

• ✦ Late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible submissions.
• ✦ Any technical malfunctions, interruptions, or failures of any kind.
• ✦ Any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in the Promotion.
• ✦ Any printing or typographical errors in any materials related to the Promotion.

ALL BAGS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND EACH PARTICIPANT DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Neither the failure of AIFS to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Official Rules nor the failure, delay, or omission by AIFS in exercising any right with respect to these Official Rules, will be construed as a waiver or relinquishment of AIFS’ right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance.

8. Dispute Resolution
Participants agree that any dispute relating to the Promotion shall be resolved individually without class action and exclusively by the state and federal courts located in Connecticut, without regard to any state’s conflict of laws principles. Participants further agree that:

• ✦ Any claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including those associated with applying for a program, but in no event shall include attorneys’ fees.
• ✦ Under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect, consequential, or other special damages.

9. Severability
If any provision of these Official Rules is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the extent necessary to render it valid and enforceable, and the remainder of the Official Rules shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Waiver of Liability and Indemnification
By participating in the Promotion, each participant and their heirs, successors, and assigns release, forever discharge, and covenant not to make a claim against or sue AIFS and/or its affiliates, employees, officers, directors, agents, and/or representatives for any and all claims, demands, damages, causes of action, or losses arising out of participation in the Promotion and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Away® bag.
